Nothing is if your killing yotes. SKS is a fantastic yote buster. Like other posters have mentioned, the 7.62x39 will drop a coyote with no issues. I’m not sure how well the SKS is suited to coyote hunting though. I wouldn’t use it if you will be hunting over a large field or on a power line.

A Yugo SKS will be problematic with a bad gas system due to the grenade launcher system it has. Pretty much any other SKS should function fine with a cosmetic blemmed gas tube.
